‘Oh, you mean the cinematograph—the pictures of prize-fights and steamers. I’ve seen ’em upcountry.’By 1919, when Kipling revised this poem for the Inclusive Edition, he had substituted ‘cinematograph’ for ‘ biograph’, which had fallen out of use.
